This is a Digital Art Image I did for the Saline Valley Fire Protection District. There are many symbolic elements in this image. The sheild is shaped like a traditional Fire Fighters badge and contains two playing cards which symbolize District 74 and being "all hearts". The engine numbers are embedded around the parimeter of the shield including the Maltice Cross and "SV" for Saline Valley. The horse has a not-so-traditional Hook slaying a dragon and of course the axes. The courage of these brave men and women is captured in the courage demonstarted everyday in what they do... capturing this courage was very imortant to me.
