We live on a small subdivision lake with smog, toll ways, and the rush that only comes from living in the “big city”. We are blessed in that several Blue Heron visit our lake on a regular basis (who would’ve guessed!). We commissioned the 'Blue Heron at the Lake' last summer so everyone visiting our home could also experience our Blue Heron. We couldn’t be more pleased with Mario’s custom rendition. Getting a tattoo at age 46 wasn’t an easy decision. One thing I was sure of was that I didn’t want to choose a ‘canned’ design from thousands of choices in a catalog. Mario took my ideas, expanded them and came up with artwork which amazingly captured my vision and so much more! Mario even personalized this design by incorporating my name into it! Thanks to his talent, my tattoo is truly as unique as I am. (Polynesian feel. Setting sun on the ocean that when viewed sideways reveals Lana in the waves. Lana means “a-drift” in Polynesian).

Mario only knew a couple of things about me…I was getting a tattoo for my 21st birthday and I love rock and roll! He managed to come up with a one-of-a-kind design that says it all without being too over the top. (Heart wrapped in thorns that upon closer observation, twist around to form “Rock n Roll”)
